The book dedicates a section to study the origin (Greece or Thailand) and meaning of the 18th century tiles that shape out the "muñecos" (figures) decorating the façade along a presenting a catalogue of selected pieces from the extraordinary collection of colonial paintings from famed artists such as Cristóbal de Villalpando, Juan Tinoco, Cástulo Portilla, Diego de Borgraf, Agustín Arrieta, and others.
