About the author (2010)

Dr. Larry McCleary is the former acting chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Denver Children’s Hospital. He is now the director of the Advanced Metabolics Research Group and the medical director for the Shining Stars Foundation, which provides sport, recreational, and outreach programs for children with cancer and life-threatening diseases. He lives in Incline Village, Nevada.
