L'oggetto principale del presente lavoro Ŕ la tossicodipendenza e l'incapacitÓ al matrimonio. Vi Ŕ la classificazione delle sostanze psicoattive, ossia droghe, e una particolare attenzione viene data ai disturbi mentali da esse derivanti. La ricerca prosegue con un'analisi delle sentenze in tema di tossicodipendenza emesse dal Tribunale Apostolico della Rota Romana nel periodo tra il 1935 e il 1994; tenendo conto di peculiari condizioni psicofisiche del tossicodipendente, viene presa in esame la sua capacitÓ o incapacitÓ al matrimonio secondo le tre fattispecie previste nel can. 1095 del codice vigente (1983).
