About the author (2002)

Collier is one of the leading lacemakers in Britain and has been involved in the world of lace for over 20 years. She is a former chairman of The Lace Guild and a past president of the International Organisation of Lace. She has taught lacemaking and exhibited her work throughout the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, and Finland.
