Inspired by the first principle of the Christian faith, author Gillian Stokes explains in her new book Let There Be Love the positive and healing values of loving and being loved. Using examples from the Bible and other spiritual literature to support her text, she shows her readers in modern terms how to practice the universal truth of love as expressed by Christ...just as I have loved you, so too should you love one another. Stokes writes for a contemporary audience making sense in layman's terms the concept of love as embracing compassion, acceptance, understanding, wisdom and contentment.
