When Brad Pope returns to his boyhood hometown to confront his long-lost father, the 35-year-old psychologist becomes a prime suspect in the murder of cave diver, Big Jake Nunn. Whitecross, Florida, is known for its natural crystal-clear springs and underwater caverns where townsfolk die of natural causes, not murder. Until now. The psychologist's hopes of settling the debt with his father and reconnecting with his cantankerous Grandma Gigi are hindered by the surprised horror surrounding his father's whereabouts and sinister secrets of the Women's Preservation Club, founded by Grandma Gigi.
With its blend of humor and dark plot, Limestone Gumption witnesses beauty and brutality in a small Southern town. This fast-paced cozy mystery's twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat or make you fall out of it laughing.

There’s something going on behind the scenes in the small town of Whitecross. The star of the town has been found murdered and there are too many
suspects to even count. But one seems to stand out above the rest, the one who was supposed to go diving with him (and didn’t show) the day he died. Brad may have wanted the accomplished diver dead for many reasons, but he’s definitely not the only one and he wasn’t anywhere near the site when the murder happened. But could he uncover more than he expected by looking into the murder and the local women’s club? Limestone Gumption by Bryan E. Robinson is a mystery that will leave you wondering.
Brad is an accomplished young man. He managed to find his way out of a small town and truly make something of himself which is really something to be admired. When he comes back to the town, however, he’s in search of revenge, something that anyone can relate to. It’s easy to understand Brad and where he’s coming from throughout this book. It’s also easy to get caught up in the way that he and the Sisterfriends go about trying to solve the mystery of what really happened to Big Jake because someone wanted him dead and someone was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen. Limestone Gumption is more than just a murder mystery; it’s about finding yourself and truly understanding your past to create your own future.
