About the author (1998)

Start is Gallagher's third volume of poetry. Stubborn, winner of the 2005 FIELD Poetry Prize, was published by Oberlin College Press in 2006. This Minute (Fordham University Press) appeared in 2005. Gallagher is an associate professor of English at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY.
