After meeting Gene, he only knows the truth. Too many people try to take advantage of anyone associated with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Seeing that Gene and Ronnie were best friends, throughout, who else would you listen to? He was very honest and forthcoming to me. Dave Hlubek from Hatchet shook my hand, because I tried to help book sales. That's good enough. Gene really is a "Simple Man". I like that. I hate that people try to ride on someone else's accomplishments, but I wasn't there. You can find my picture in this book. As far as others involved with this book, I don't know them.
