About the author (2010)

Sandra was born in 1966 in a small town in Michoacan, Mexico where she lived with her parents until she was twelve. At that time she moved away to go to school. In 1985 she came To The United States and since then she's been living in Oregon with her husband, Ricardo and four children: Ricardo Jr, Miguel, Alba, and Brizna. Even though she's worked various jobs, including helping in the family business that her husband started, her passion has always been art and story telling. This love for story-telling she owes to her mother, who would always tell stories to her children as they were growing up. Unfortunately her mother passed away May 24, 2009 and Sandra has decided to finally publish her book, As a tribute to her mother.
