About the author (2000)

Mary Louise Cuneo is the author of several picture books as well as of Anne is Elegant, a novel for young people. A former college English teacher and children's book reviewer, she lives with her husband near Black Rock harbor in Connecticut. Their house on a hill above the harbor is more than a century old and has room for a family of six - now grown up and gone to separate career locations across the country.

Pam Paparone has illustrated many books for children, including Mail For Husher Town; Raindrop, Plop!; and I Like Cats. She has also written and illustrated several books, including Who Built the Ark? Ms. Paparone lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
