Ashgate, 1998 - Business & Economics - 226 pages
From 1990 onwards, the pace of change in Poland has been rapid, and the degree on international involvement has significantly increased. This text examines the role of outsiders in helping Polish individuals and institutions to develop a range of management education and training initiatives. Between 1991 and 1997 a range of international donors worked with Polish counterparts to change the management education and training system in Poland, in order to build sustainable business/training organizations of high quality. The book examines these international funds, particularly the British Government Know How Funded Regional Management Centres project, and looks at their various levels of achievements.
