Meditation and Kabbalah

Front Cover
Weiser Books, 1985 - Body, Mind & Spirit - 355 pages
5 Reviews
A lucid presentation of the meditative methods, mantras, mandalas and other devices used, as well as a penetrating interpretation of their significance in the light of contemporary meditative research. Meditative methods ofthe East might have been derived from the mystical techniques of the prophets, and this intriguing possibility, mentioned in the Zohar, is also discussed.

This is an amazing book. I own 2 copies of it. It is difficult to understand at times, but with a little prayer and some rereading passages that are difficult to understand you will see the light and understand what Kaplan is trying to communicate.

Excellent book. But make sure you read and get to the last chapter, since that is the goal of the whole book.
