About the author (1991)

Shakti Gawain, born on September 30, 1948 in Trenton, N.J., is one of the leading authors in the world consciousness and human potential movements. After spending time in Asia, she became interested in combining Eastern spiritual awareness with Western Psychology. Titles such as Creative Visualization and Creating True Prosperity teach the use of mental energy, relaxation, healing, meditation, and spiritual awareness to help readers deal with their daily lives.
