We got this for my daughters birthday party. We were haveing a watermermaid party and there were some great theme ideas. Everyone loved what we made. Some of the recipies are a little basic but its written for kids to be able to do. Overall I think there are some really great ideas in it. Read full review

About the author (2009)

Barbara Beery combined her natural talents for cooking and teaching to create Batter Up Kids, a children's cooking school, in 1991. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Texas, and spent 13 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grades and pre-school children ages 3 to 5 years. Barbara Beery holds a bachelorĘs degree in elementary education from the University of Texas and isan active member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). Barbara is a bestselling cookbook author, entrepreneur, and experienced spokesperson.
