This book is written from the view of a young boy who has a strong desire to live on a farm, and to grow with nature. He lives in a small apartment with his parents. He struggles each day to drag himself out of bed and off to school, while dreaming of nature and her inhabitants. Mickey is accident pron. Every day it seems he has some sort of calamity. From the educational point, this book has several objectives. Among a few are; new vocabulary, Earth science, morals and history of rural american life.
