About the author (1980)

Givone received his B.S.E.E. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electical Engineering from Cornell University. In 1963, he joined the faculty at the University of Buffale, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
