About the author (2003)

Iain Rice is one of Britain's best-known model railway authors with 18 books to his credit, his most recent being Railway Modelling: The Realistic Way. He is a regular contributor to British and American model railway magazines, for which he produces his own diagrams and illustrations. He is a highly respected railway modeller with more than 40 years' experience.
