About the author (2011)

The author, Norma I. Camacho, is Brooklyn raised. She's a graduate of a Manhattan Commercial HS, with accomplished courses at the New York University and Brooklyn College. She's a former legal secretary who had become a widow at a young age and found healing strength in arts, like writing, painting, singing, and acting. Although she never made it to Hollywood, in Mikey/Jackster, she clearly describes her love for singing, friends, and family in this book.
