About the author (2025)

Nicholas Doan is the writer/creator of the graphic novel series Monster Elementary and the graphic novel The Kid and The Ripper. He has written three books for Fat Rabbit Farm and won the DC/Zuda Comics contest for the webcomic, Pray for Death with artist Daniele Serra. His short comic "Lost Boy" appeared in Nobodies, Vol. 2, and he has stories in three anthologies for Wannabe Press, two for Fugitive Poems and one for Bloodline Comics. He is an accomplished playwright and member of the Dramatists Guild. Sara Silver grew up in the quaint London suburb of Bushey, Hertfordshire, but her love of cinema brought her to America and the New York Film Academy where she studied screenwriting. She wrote and directed the short film, Striking Chords and has contributed as a screenwriter to other short films produced while she lived in New York. She currently resides in West Hollywood, CA. Bobby Timony is known for his expressive characters, artistic versatility and sense of animated whimsy. He is the illustrator of DC Comic's League of Super-Pets, the Great Mxy Up, an original graphic novel starring Krypto and Ace the Bat Hound. Bobby has illustrated multiple sets of Disney trading cards for Topps, featuring favorites like Robin Hood, Darkwing Duck, the Rescue Rangers, and more. He was also an artist on The Simpsons, for Bongo comics, as well as the Sequels for Fanbase Press, and won an Independent Book Publisher's Award Gold Medal for his work on Monster Elementary. Along with his brother, Peter, he co-created the multiple Harvey Award nominated paranormal detective web-series The Night Owls for DC Comics. Night Owls was nominated for Best New Series and Best Online Series, and earned Bobby a nomination for Best New Talent. When the print edition of Night Owls debuted, the book received a Lulu nomination for Best Female Character and a Cybil Award nomination for Best Young Adult Graphic Novel. Fe Araujo, an artist from Brazil, is a comic book colorist who has been working professionally since 2018. He previously colored The Kid and The Ripper for Broken Oar Comics. Kevin D. Lintz is a comic book letterer from Fort Worth, TX. He learned his skills through Comics Experience and honed them on the mean streets of his all-ages comic book, Team SLUG. He has lettered more than 100 comics for The Comic Jam where he is an in-house letterer and administrator. Kevin frequently startles his family by making sound effect noises out loud to try and translate them into written words. He has even watched "Helvetica", the full-length feature movie about the font Helvetica.
