More Clip Art for the Liturgical Year

Following the success of Clemens Schmidt's Clip Art for the Liturgical Year, we asked Brother Placid, a Benedictine monk of St. John's Abbey, to assemble his art work into a similar volume. Brother Placid began his career as a liturgical artist designing book covers and illustrating texts for books and Sunday bulletins by The Liturgical Press, where he still works as a staff artist. This collection of his designs, in many cases combining images with verses from Scripture, will be a boon to those parishes and individuals seeking quality liturgical art to enhance bulletins, programs, and other printed material. The artwork, representing a creative use of traditional liturgical symbols, is arranged according to the liturgical year and indexed for fast reference.
