About the author (1992)

Peter Cohen and Olof Landstrom have collaborated on two previous picture books," Mr. Bohm and the Herring "and "Olson's Meat Pies," a "New York Times Book Review" Best Illustrated Book of the Year. Peter Cohen lives in Stockholm, Sweden. Olof Landstrom, with his wife, Lena, has created the Will series, as well as the much-loved Boo and Baa books. He lives in Sweden.

BARBRO LINDGREN, author of "Benny and the Binky" and "Benny's Had Enough!," both of which appeared on Fanfare, "The Horn Book"'s Honor List, is one of Sweden's best-known children's book authors. OLOF LANDSTROM, together with his wife, Lena, has written and illustrated numerous books, including the Will books, the Boo and Baa books, and "Four Hens and a Rooster," a "Washington Post "Best Book of the Year. Both author and illustrator live in Stockholm, Sweden.
