About the author (2008)

Jim Head  is a graduate of the University of Louisville. He has been in the women's apparel business as a sales manager, plays the trumpet, enjoys the art of cooking and entertaining others.

After retiring from the apparel business, he and  his family  founded the Original Texas Ya-Hoo! Cake Company in Rockwall, Texas.  His interest in food started very early and he has continued to enjoy the history and wonderment of this necessary ingredient of life.

He continues to cook for family and friends while entertaining them with his incredible stories about his past adventures.
