Designed like a scrapbook, your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or a preschooler becomes the star in this book. While it is designed to encourage preschoolers to read, children will love to have it read to them. Preschoolers will learn how to recognize the alphabet, colors, and numbers 1 through 20. The scrapbook introduces preschoolers to rhyming words, different foods, and familiar animals. Phonics, the foundation for learning how to read, is emphasized by being placed on the book cover. Proper punctuation is demonstrated throughout the book, with explanations of the most common punctuation marks located in the back of the book.
