This book is a work of art, a true true story. I don't find it racist or prejudicial against whites. Douglas was quite neutral when it came to talking about hating them for their colour ,just their personalities.
Over all, its wonderfully written, gets you straight to the point : SLAVERY WAS WRONG... all races can overcome.
