About the author (2005)

Linn Mills has more than thirty years of experience with the Nevada Cooperative Extension Service. He was instrumental in developing horticulture programs and has received awards from the County Agents of America for numerous articles on a variety of gardening topics. Linn currently writes the weekly gardening column for the Review Journal in Las Vegas.

Dick Post founded the Master Gardener Volunteer Program in Nevada, which has created 1,000 volunteers for the state. Dick is active in Reno's gardening media with daily exposure on radio and newspaper.
