About the author (2004)

Trained as an interior designer, Ann Sample is a professional journalist who has worked as a reporter for Fortune and Entertainment Weekly, and as an editor and writer for Woman's Day Special Interest Publications, including the publications Home Remodeling and Walls, Windows & Floors. A frequent contributor on interior design topics for numerous newspapers and magazines, Sample holds a masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from New York University and is currently completing an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.
