Nichiren was born on the day 27th of the 1st month during the year 1222 on Japanese old lunar calendar in used at that time (Lunar Calendar 27 January), which was corresponds to 16 February 1222 on Gregorian solar calendar in use at modern time, NOT Gregorian 6 April or 30 March, Tiantai master Buddha that time then was born on ancient Lunar Calendar 16 February in China. Nichiren is "Great Nichiren", NOT "Great Sage" (Daishonin).
