This is an amazing book. It wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be a history of the Catholic Worker Movement or at least a history of the Worchester Catholic Worker. But it was the story of one Catholic Worker individual. It surprised me and I was brought in by his intelligence and his humanity. It was about his relationships with his family and with the world. Even about his experience running. It was about his commitment to nonviolence and to Christ. It was all this and more. Thank you for a fascinating life.

Scott Schaeffer-Duffy is a great story teller. This book was easy and fun to read but also gives a great education on what it means to be a Catholic Worker.
