Any child who has faced a surprise test, received the worst haircut in history, or felt misunderstood will find much to love in this funny and triumphant collection of poems. Sara Holbrook acknowledges such miseries with insight and moxie. Humorously illustrated by J.J. Smith-Moore, the poems confirm that, whatever the evidence to the contrary, nothing's the end of the world.
