About the author (2011)

Roberta Weiner Markbreit has enjoyed the exploration of Life's arts that are so imperative to our everyday being.As a teenager, she studied at the Art Institute of Chicago in its summer program; and as an adult, she studied at the Chicago Academy of Art during the summer, also. She spent ten years as an art student with Alan Gavin of Evanston, Illinois.She has taught high-school English, been an assistant editor, a correspondent, and a columnist for two local newspapers. Roberta has been hosting and producing two half-hour series on public access television for twenty-one years.
