About the author (2000)

Art Bernstein lives in Grant's Pass, Oregon and has scouted the Oregon outdoors for over 30 years. In addition, to writing and publishing 12 guidebooks, he holds a Master's degree in Forestry and has worked as a county forester, national park ranger, and as a community college instructor
