About the author (2006)

Bitsy Kemper began writing for children after she had her second child. This is the first series she has written. Bitsy has been on TV and radio all over the United States. You may have seen her on CNN, in your local paper, or heard her on the radio. Bitsy lives in Northern California with her husband and three children. She wrote about technology for 11 years, including a nationally-syndicated newspaper column. When not writing, volunteering, or being on stage, Bitsy loves to surf - the Internet! She promises to keep on researching and writing, as long as kids promise to keep on reading.
