Page 2 - OFCCP administers the enforcement of Executive Order 11246, which prohibits employment discrimination by government contractors based on race, color, sex, religion, or national origin and mandates affirmative action in employment. OFCCP also enforces section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and section 402 of the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Act which require federal contractors to employ and advance in employment handicapped, disabled veterans and Vietnam-era veterans.
