About the author

Aaron Ableman is an edutainer with a background in world literature, food and climate systems, music and community organizing. Ableman grew up on a renowned organic urban farm and was mentored by Hopi elders and children's musician Raffi. He has performed with the likes of Rev. Michael Beckwith, K'NAAN and Joan Baez. From India to Haiti, he has implemented eco-arts programs and worked with at-risk teens. Ableman is a spokesperson for healthy ecosystems, artistic culture and youth empowerment. His life and work have been heralded in major publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Montreal Mirror, New York Times and San Francisco Examiner. Ableman is the executive producer of the Clean Energy Tour, a co-founder of BALANCE EDUTAINMENT and a consultant for environmental organizations and campaigns. This is his first children's book.
