Skye Fargo rides into Oregon's Willamette Valley for a tracking job. Millionaire Luther Brunsdale's lumber business is threatened by the Phantoms, a tribe nicknamed so because no one knows who they are. Fargo figures he'll have to be part tracker and part detective, since there's more to these killers than meets the eye. But Brunsdale's daughter hovers within striking distance, and she's a tease of a different kind.
