Painting a Purpose
When the young Enrique Valverde De La Roca defies his father's aim for him to become the next in a line of prominent architects, he must face the consequences. The first born of his family, Enrique realizes he can no longer live on the same island as his family. Facing this life-changing decision, Enrique leaves the island and plans to pursue his own dream of being an artist. While struggling with his feelings of alienation from society, he achieves fame as a painter and writer.
Even with success, however, he remains torn by his deeply-felt sense of separation from creation. On a trip to the mountain with a friend, he confronts his inner demons and reconsiders the purpose for his life. While Enrique's fire rages on inside his soul, a wildfire breaks out in the midst of the forest. Can Enrique escape the fire in order to live out his purpose?
