This book shows sculptures created by some of America's greatest artists during the American Renaissance. Many people are unaware that some of the best artwork ever produced in the world was being created here in the United States, just before being eclipsed by the modern art movement. Unfortunately, with the current state of the visual arts in the US, projects such as these are no longer funded or promoted. Great insight into a lost time in American and world cultural history.
