Left for dead and haunted by nightmarish dreams after having lost everything that truly meant anything to him, Nicholas James embarks on a journey determined to protect innocents who cannot protect themselves. This journey, that will take him across the country and across the border, will have him cross paths with individuals that most people hope they will never face themselves. Can he control his anger and bitterness and still be able to accomplish what he is attempting? Or will his anger and bitterness turn him into a facsimile of what he is fighting. Follow Paladin as he tries to reconcile what he feels is right or wrong with what is right or wrong. Does he want justice'...or revenge.
