Every recipe I've tried from this book has been delicious. The Shrimp and Spinach pancakes with curried tomato sauce are exceptionally good. The book gives advice for novices on how to properly cook pancakes, as well as snippets of pancake lore in the sidebars. It includes sections for American, International, Fruit, Vegetable, Savory, Dessert, and Kid-Pleasing pancakes, as well as dry mixes and toppings. Metric conversions are on the last page.
