About the author (2004)

Paul Kirk has written several cookbooks, including "Simple Smokin"g and the bestselling "Paul Kirk s Championship Barbeque". He has won more than 475 awards for cooking and barbeque and has appeared on "The Today Show" and the Discovery Channel. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
