This is the most useful book for adult ESL . For awareness of Australia's history the chapters on Phillip MacArthur and Macquarie are absolutely essential plus the aboriginal units, including Mabo Benelong Perkins . I regard these units as absolutely essential.
Of course it's very difficult to choose as all are good.
Accent in the reading is excellent
Grammar is also very useful and it is well suited to most levels
I my most valuable teaching aid !
