Philosophy of Education by Nel Noddings had some good, valid points about education. However, there were also a few chapters that delved a little too deeply into what "truth" is and how to be "logical." Read full review

About the author (2011)

Nel Noddings is Lee L. Jacks Professor of Education Emerita at Stanford University. She has taught at the elementary through college levels and has served as acting dean of the School of Education at Stanford University. An award-winning teacher and past president of the National Academy of Education and the Philosophy of Education Society, she is the author of numerous books on a broad range of educational issues.
