Mr. Haynes of HAYNES CORPORATION, Printers published newsletters in downtown L.A. between at least 1933-37. My grandfather Ivan Deach, Jr. wrote stories for the newsletter called " The Set-Up" during this time. The purpose of this newsletter was for local business advice, daily news clips and short stories. The 5" x 8" two page newsletter was distibuted only to local businesses in L.A. My grandfather also wrote a newsletter called "Premier Personality" published by PREMIER LAUNDRY CO. 515 Arden Ave. Glendale, CA between 1933-37.
