This book is my attempt to introduce you to a better way of life in Christ Jesus.  However, if you are only a Christian on Sundays, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, then my book is not for you.  My book is not for you if you only pray in time of trouble or if you feel that God has given you a spiritual charge card and you can “have it your way”.  No, my book is not designed for the sporadic Christian.  It is for the serious, determined Christian who is facing obstacles in everyday life and the unsaved person who is at the crossroads of life and just don’t know which way to turn..

About the author (2007)

I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and after spending nine years in Michigan, came back home to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and remarried.  I grew up with a love for reading and writing.  My writing gift became more manifest in my adult years as I taught Bible study and would be called upon to participate on different programs at churches, which required that I write a paper to read. Sometimes I would get alone with the Lord to read, study or meditate on his word and the Holy Ghost would reveal to me just what to write.  Sometimes the Holy Ghost would wake me up at two or three o’clock in the morning and give me what to write.  This is how the majority of the material in my book came about.  All scriptures referenced are from the King James version of the Holy Bible unless otherwise noted.  I retired from the state of La. Dept of Social Services as an Assistant Parish Manager/Supervisor in 2006.  I had worked for the state of Louisiana for thirty plus years.  This is only the first of several books that I hope to write in the near future.
