Practising Education, Training and Development in South African Organisations
Juta and Company Ltd, 2007 - Employees - 418 pages
The book contains a unique and refreshingly new perspective on education, training and development (ETD) practices in the 21st century workplace context. It moves away from merely revamping known and traditional principles of ETD to providing the reader and student with practical tools and new perspectives on the changing and broadening role of the ETD practitioner in the workplace. It contains new and transformative models, practical applications and guidelines for students and readers on the South African outcomes-based approach to ETD, the profession and practice of ETD, including quality assurance aspects.

my name is Pumeza Tisani , have been in HR for the past 19 years , this book should be made compulsory for all those practing education, training and development. i would like to propose that a group session for these professions be set up to discuss ans share ideas. i see that most HR forums linked to business chamber of commerce at various cities dont have continuity. i am not sure waht is not making these work . There is no doubt about the need for such structures ,but they dont seem to be influencing how our profession is executed in the various organisations .
is there a place for a book review , where those who have studied and applied have written back on lessons learnt ?
