This is the first book that I have written, which has been inspired by faith, hope, family and friends through the tragic sudden loss of my spouse. Unfortunately, I am not the only one in this position, as there are many young people who loose their spouse to sudden death every day. Those of us left behind have to learn to start over, to accept what has happened and learn to raise our children as a single parent; not by choice. The purpose of my book is to encourage those who have experienced such a great loss, through words of hope and encouragement, and to let them know that they are not alone. With hope and faith, I hope to inspire others in a similar situation to "Press On," to move forward and to grow through their experience. Hopefully, those who have experienced the loss of a young spouse will become a better person, a better parent, a better friend, a better daughter or son, a better brother or sister, just a better person all around. For me, life will never be the same. From the day of the accident, my life has changed forever. This is not to say that life will never be good again, life is what you make of it. However, starting over is not easy. Having strength, courage, hope and faith will see you through. Knowing and believing that all things happen for a reason, understanding the grief process and learning to take one day at a time is important. None of us know what the future holds, all you can do is cherish today and hope for tomorrow. I hope this book will help to inspire those who have experienced a loss to "Press On."
