About the author (1999)

Creator and president of the Quantum Leap Thinking Organization, James J. Mapes is a popular international public speaker who specializes in teaching skills to individuals and organizations that stimulate innovation, enhance creativity and increase productivity. He makes more than one hundred presentations a year to companies worldwide including many Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Merrill Lynch and GTE. In addition to his speaking engagements, Mapes is also an actor and has appeared on stage, film, television and most recently in his one-man hypnosis show, Journey into the Imaginations.
