In 2006 the book Random Thoughts and Therapy was created under the premise that everyoneas life is a story. Michael Slaven put together a collection of short stories, part autobiographical mixed with views of current events and history. Subjects covered include personal views of the working poor; life in America today; and war and its causes, past and present. The author also takes you on a personal journey into his life that revolves around the subjects he covers along with his own journey through depression caused by the loss of his son. These short stories and views of the world we live in today are intertwined with choice selections from thirty-plus years of poetry writing. All thoughts and directions that this collection takes have the same themea]maybe we can change the world and live with the hope that tomorrow will be a better day.
