About the author (2001)

Robert Dodds was born inEngland and grew up in Yorkshire and Kent with a neuroticdog and a tortoise. He went to Oxford University to study English andthen became a teacher. After a few years working in England, Mexico, and the USA, he settled in Edinburgh. By this time he was a filmmakeras well as a teacher, and he set up a new degree course in film andtelevision production at Edinburgh College of Art in the late 1980s. Hestill works at Edinburgh College of Art for part of the year. Aswell as producing a variety of work for television, radio, and theatre, Roberthas had four books published. This is his first title for A & C Black.
