Moonbeams

Moonbeams are dancing on the waters crest
As waves of water roll across the sand
With night the ocean their enchanting guest
They watch the rolling water reaching land
Enchanted holding hands their cares at rest

With hope pursuing life, their love was right
They walk the beach together side by side
A glowing moon is fl owing down with light
The serene sounds of rolling waters tide
And heard the whispering of wind through night

Their hearts are one, with love to never stray
A life together starts with hope and dreams
And vows of marriage said their special way
Aglow at night the beach with soft moon beams
Their love would grow a little more each day

As time had passed the children came and grew
They yearned to walk the beach again at night
Their lives were good the worst of times were few
To stroll below the glowing soft moonlight
Where heard the whisper of the wind that blew
And see moonbeams on waves with dancing light
